I see no point in having a tablet that unfolds into a bigger tablet (Mate X or Galaxy Fold). The large displays are cool but they must not come at expense of sacrificed portability. And honestly most devices in past couple of years have been an absolute pain to carry around; I'd much rather have a phablet that I can fold into a compact and portable device.
So in my point of view, the tablet-to-bigger-tablet folding system is a dead end and the flip phones ARE the way of future, and so I'm really glad more manufacturers are hopping on this hype train.
Folding phones like the Z Flip aren't that great. The true foldables in my opinion is the Mate X or the Glaxy Fold way. But those are bigger, i know some appreciate the size of Z Flip. But i am used to phones at 6,4 inch size, above that is too big. I would rather have an tablet that folds instead of a phond that folds.
