lol like who even uses google stuff on iOS/Mac? That's the whole idea of Apple - allows you to keep away from google and still have a fully functioning outstanding quality device.

So what this article is all about: google made the gmail app incapable to multitask until now, because thats what they wanted. Ipad had support for this kind of apps for a while already. So google slowed things down because that's what they wanted. Fans: google is so good ipad is so bad. So you guys love android because google is evil and does bad things to others to make himself look better?

So what if android had it first. Enjoy the android had it first trophy. Give it a nice Polish. Gmail app is made by Google who make the android os. Google added split screen on Gmail for ios much later. They could have added it sooner. That's what the article is about.

So much noise for the so called optimized OS.

OMG even 150 dollar budget devices can use Gmail in split screen multitasking for a super smooth experience.
Can't even do that on 1500 dollar iPhone.

As usual all the features ported from Android to iOS are usually half baked like this.
So much for the so called optimised OS.
