Samsung's market share is less than 1%, and typically classified as among "others". Samsung introduces almost all its models in China, including some exclusive models and exclusive color options. But most of those models, especially the lower-priced models, don't really sell at all. Many buyers of Samsung phones in China are South Koreans. (Note: There are close to 2 millions South Koreans currently living in China more or less permanently.)

3 million is a decent sale number. Redmi K20 Series sold 5+ millions units. Since we are only half-way through with K30 series, this series should eventually outsell K20 series in all likelihood.
Redmi K30 series has been designed to compete against Honor 30 series that will likely sell 20-30 millions or more units. By that measure, Redmi K30 series comes short. But then again, are there any android smartphone series from any phonemakers that can compete against Honor 30 series? Not that I know.

K30 Pro is much better, but not close to a Mi Note 10.
