ijcy, 11 Jul 2020You understand that Realme and Oneplus are the same company right?I mean not exactly the same company, just have the same parent company - BBK, which is also a parent company of Vivo... Which honestly makes the whole thing even weirder than if they were completely different companies - I mean, OnePlus puts so much effort in hyping these devices but then two of its sister companies release phones that just offers SO MUCH better value...

Chinese version at 200€ price is worth attention. Situation at 400€ may soon change with coming 150mp beast.

Good ultrawide modules are better with macro than low quality dedicated ones

But the macro one, it lets you get 2cm away from your subject. No main cam can do that, and, as I have said, the macro camera on the one fusion+ and the pocophone 2 pro are great, actual usable cameras, just like the ultrawide and telephoto

Same with macro sensors, in most cases you get better photos when you crop a photo taken with main sensors. Which is the reason why you almost never find the depth/macro sensors on more flagship devices, it's simply a dumb marketing tool.

Also why is the depth sensor also "garbage"? Some people use it and it might be very good. You can't know all of this

It lacks 3,5mm port ánd MicroSD port.. And only 48MP main sensor.. No AMOLED but IPS.. Who's gonna buy 5hat phone? Galaxy A71 Beats it in most specs for same price, Redmi Note 9 Pro beats it in price with almost similar specs.. And they themselves offer similar offer in 9 Pro for the same price..

After Moto G 5G Plus, this is yet another blow for the OnePlus Nord, if it really starts at around 500 usd as expected... Same chipset, even higher refresh rate screen, same garbage depth/macro sensors, but it costs 349 eur instead of 500 usd. Looks like OnePlus' dream of penetrating the market with their new midranger is collapsing.
