Hello Life, 12 Jul 2020You didn’t get my sarcasm. That’s why the wise say, Listening is always better than talking. ohh... kkk....?? lol, ulcer much? what made you think mine wasn't?

or maybe humour has evolved to the point where an actual joke doesn't look like one anymore and i'm just old. 👴

but you know what's even better than listening?

This is probably already in Apple's plan to counter the import tariffs in India. The trade war and covid simply hasten things down.

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2020Every few months you get an article attributed to "indian sources" claiming this or ... moreDo you do business with India? I am a UK citizen with Russian ancestry who does business with India. I am in India right now (covid lockdown etc) and I see things happen materially.

Sure, these fellas aren't perfect and there definitely are some challenges and occasional cultural hurdles of 'sloth', but nothing too different from doing business with China. In fact, its even a little easier.

I strongly refute your claim that this is propaganda. In fact, I wonder if this isn't reverse propaganda from your side for whatever reason...?

No matter what this is a great news and I hope more manufacturing moves to India, Thailand, Vietnam etc. Diversification is great and creates a more dependable market. Everyone by now realises the danger of dealing with a Communist china where people don't even have a right to free speech. Kudos to foxconn and apple steer away of this ccp

It's a legit tactic to use imo if you want other countries to set up factories in your country and develop your country's manufacturing capabilities. And the Indian market is quite lucrative.

Vikramaditya, 11 Jul 2020Soon enough we'll be free from Chinese assembled (& manufactured? ) phones in India. ... moreJust because it's manufactured in India doesn't make it good, not saying it's bad but doesn't make the phones better. But yeah I think they should start to move out of china but i don't think it makes sense for international reason, it makes sense for India but doesn't really make sense for the US/Europe markets, where it doesn't really matter where the devices are manufactured, but that may change for US.

ferroequinologist, 11 Jul 2020Nope sir. Iphone Xr is the only iphone in india which comes close to us prices in comparison t... moreFYI, iPhone 11 priced cheaper than XR when it launched and I actually bought it from off line stores for a even better deal. Price wise advantages may not be much as far as iPhones are concerned. May be older generation mobiles manufactured could be offered as cheaper purely based on perception than actual value.
