Apple, Samsung, Sony, Meizu, Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, LG etc. All are made in china orIndia or Vietnam. Whats your problem???
If it was this bad the will make more fiasco than they would.
Just look at the story of note 7.
Since then no phones had such problems.

Al-Aqsa Lover, 13 Jul 2020I think this is beginning to be hilariously overkill, Phones are going to explode further more!Man since the big fail of Samsung with Note 7 i did not heard about even a single phone which exploded.
If this tech would be this bad it would never existed.

Well hope they add 10 times better batteries for their phones with exact or smaller sizes than they are now.
In other words charging was improved a lot its time to improve the battery.

          1) Very interesting to see how to manage heat generation during 125W charge, which will obviously increase internal temperature way higher than what we feel from current phones. If Oppo overcame the thermal issue, that's a great thing in technology advancement.

          2) In general and theoretically, the energy density of the embedded Li-ion battery or batteries (may be 1S1P, but likely 2S1P) will be 15+% lower than the state-of the art Li-ion pouch battery. Thus, most likely runtime per charge will be lower than others and need frequent charge, if you're a heavy user.

If I am not mistaken, the same goes for Austria and Netherlands.
So, your comment regarding iphones and Europe is based on what exactly?
Also, the indians do not buy iphones because the iphones have extra taxes in India and they are more expensive.

An iphone shouldn't be automatically expensive. I have bought an iphone with 150EUR from a specialized store. I have 1 year warranty for it. Except for the battery (which is original and has about 3 years) the phone works great and has the latest IOS on it. It works better than my last 2 Android mid-range phones anyway.
Flagship Android phones are not that cheap nowadays. In my country One Plus 8 Pro cost the same as an iphone 11 Pro. The same for S20+. Phones like S20 ultra, Motorola Edge+ or Sony Xperia 1 II are even more expensive.

Roy-86, 13 Jul 2020Will it be over usb C? I think may be proprietary cable.I can't believe that USB-C can survive handling about 20+ Amps! And, the cable must have at least 2 wires 14GA (2 wires with 1,63 mm each) beside wires for communication.
Shall be a proprietary charging port + dedicated charging cable.
