Asif, 14 Jul 2020Why didn’t they give firmware update for spo2?? Huawei give Their band 4 this update. And it... moreYea, I know. Was thinking to buy Honor band 5 only bcs of that and better sleep tracking but now I will wait for MI band 5 as it has way better battery life and they improved software as well, including RAM sleep tracking, better heart rate monitoring...And finally new charger
Why didn’t they give firmware update for spo2?? Huawei give Their band 4 this update. And its pretty accurate though it is slow..
AnTi, 14 Jul 2020Is there any chance that Pro version of Mi Band 5 will come to Europe ?I can’t see much difference. Presently there are two models with or without NFC and the Chinese QR code shopping system. TBH after buying the BIP S this device is a no brainier. Only has Chinese and English language at present but for 43 dollars it’s excellent. Unfortunately mine had a fault and had to be returned. GPS worked well too and it’s syncs to the MI app and not the Amazfit one
maqn, 13 Jul 2020But the Pro version will cost more. If I spend more money I can buy better band. They need to ... moreSure, it will cost more. But how much more? 10 bucksmore? Its still extremly cheap. Which band do you consider better at this price range?
If the NFC takes ~5 days off the battery life, then it's not really worth it (especially if you can't manually turn it off).
I wonder what phone they're going to announce, though. Mi A4? Or a new Mix phone? They should release the Mi 10 Lite Zoom Edition. It's been several months since the phone was released in China (as Mi 10 Lite Youth Edition).
Jakubko, 13 Jul 2020Rumor has it, the Pro version is on the way, maybe with NFC, SpO2 and Alexa. Yes it does come with the O2 sensor NFC but no Alexa. The O2 sensor does seem very slow to use, asking the wearer to breathe in and out following the app
Rk100, 13 Jul 2020If it is going to be sold outside of china, then why not include NFC, a key feature for me and ... moreReceived mine last week and it does have NFC but unfortunately after 2 minutes in the menu the display would break up., so sadly returned.GPS seems stable and also synced with the MI app to Strava. Very good considering the price
If it is going to be sold outside of china, then why not include NFC, a key feature for me and a lot other, who use to pay. Disappointing Xiaomi.
Without NFC, the XIaomi trackers are useless to me and anyone who makes purchases with their tracker or smartwatch. Just being cheap doesn't cut it.
Jakubko, 13 Jul 2020Rumor has it, the Pro version is on the way, maybe with NFC, SpO2 and Alexa. But the Pro version will cost more. If I spend more money I can buy better band. They need to do cheap and fully finctional band to be ahead of their competitors.
What’s the point? That’s how THIS should be.
Without NFC, alexa and oximeter no buy for me 👎🏻
