JayrBars, 14 Jul 2020I think the prototype designs were better. But thats just me. This might be what they're actually aimed for. They actually didn't set this prototype for a design consideration but to find out if people liked it or not. The story that they chose the proto design at first and then change it midway production might be just a trick to make the marketing more interesting.

How can you know the thickness
Pretty sure the whole motherboard should be different because of the bigger main sensor with the camera.
The concept photos look weird, but I like them. The final design looks like an huawei p30 - which is plain boring. Since the phone is way too huge for me I wont buy it anyway, but still we need new designs in phones.

Another overpriced underperforming phone from one+
They have made it a habit to make phones which never justify its price point

Pathetic PR stunt with their documentary about designing the phone when it's basically the same as Realme X3.
The Realme X3 has 120hz screen, Telephoto camera and a flagship processor. The Nord can only offer Amoled and their OS. How will they convince people to buy?
Too much hype surrounding the usual mid ranger with nothing extraordinary to offer.
it should be below to 25k, if one+ wanna rock in the market.
Md Shakib, 15 Jul 2020OP nord, it’s base design of realme. Realme X50 5G -30Hz
Anonymous, 15 Jul 2020I like how they were trying something new and settled with a Note 10 + Galaxy S10 Plus ripoff. How??? Looks nothing like them
Damn it looks midrange
It's ok if you don't like the design, actually is kind of basic.
But the point is... this phone is not selling itself as the peak of design, or something original or thrilling. Is just a phone for the people who can't (or dont want) invest a lot of money in a oneplus. That was Carl Pei said, they discarded the previous design because the want to be
recognizable as a oneplus and to reach the most people as possible.
If you want design go for the lg velvet, motorola edge or sony experia.
How about that 3.5mm poll you did Mr Pei.... How much cost would that add... What a joke.
gmp005, 15 Jul 2020I am on same boat with you :DJust a couple weeks ago the prototype designs were "leaked" and featured on here and the comment section went batsh*t crazy as everyone hated that design.
Good information thank you.
