They ditched the prototype design because of the production reasons imo. With a single glass covering the all cameras it is faster and cheaper to cut only one hole on the frame. Even if the design is better there always is gonna be the cheapest design that's ben chosen.

Th... moreOkay, then tell me why didn't they go ahead with the L-shaped camera & other unique prototypes by their design team ? But, the cliched pill shaped found in every phone which is co-incidentally being mass produced by Oppo for the Reno 4 ? They're all about being unique, right ?
How come both have 765G, 6.4" AMOLED 90Hz panel, 4000 mAh battery, 48 MP back modules, 32 MP dual selfie cams, 128GB UFS 2.1 ? At this point, I'm feeling bad for the Reno that it just doesn't get the same hype.

Single camera at the front would have done the job rather than ugly dual cam, preferably punch hole at centre.

maybe not everybody's cup of tea
but it stands out from the already crowded pill shaped camera
as long as they take great picture of course

But ditching OnePlus for Realme? Seriously man you should rethink your choices. I tried x2 pro for less than 1 month and the UI made me left. OnePlus is still far ahead in their UI game.

I know I'm commenting here but it has to be said:
There is too much news surrounding this device for something that isn't a big deal considering it looks like SO many other phones with this garbage punch hole. It's even dumber that it's gonna be without a headphone jack. Like really.. this phone is going to be disappointing...just like the S20 series.
