Do fire brigades have ladders that can reach the top of Samsung Galaxy 3?
Lucky the fire was at the bottom.
Seriously though was the phone plugged into a car charger? (the article does not specifically say it was)
My phone gets reasonably warm if I accidentally leave the WiFi on while driving (phone screen would be on together with GPS). Not hot just quite warm.
I wonder if the phone in question was mounted near an air vent with the car heating turned on.
Edit: yes source article has driver referring to his heating system.
What are the recommended operating temperatures for the SG3?
0 to 40 degrees celsius ?
they bought it from carphone warehouse,,,,, enough said me thinks!
A think it's a "Apple" trick for a pub war . I don't believe that .Koreans are not stupid at this point
the next Samsung Model will be called 'Galaxy Sbomb series' with fire crackers...!!! Happy New Year

When so many IPhone exploded, it was not a news. Only one S3 out of millions exploded, it is a big big news.
That summarizes everything...
come on, samsung. i planned to own you s3. i hope you can solve this probs.
galaxy s3 must be renamed to galaxy "big bang" hahaha. See what i did there? ...ok i admit, that was lame lol.
my samsung galaxy y is also getting overheated upto 60%....while in charge...n use........the main problem is with the battery....
My Blue GS3 was constantly overheating when connected to a charger. so much so that you could not pick up the handset as it would burn you and it left scorch marks where it was charging. i had this handset swapped straight away.
aha, 21 Jun 2012AHA! too much excuses,, accept it! S3 is even worse that a toy!!Yeah Yeah i know.
a poor baby like you,who cannot afford to get one would cry on it.
it just a rubbish blame on smmsung to stop galaxy s3 selling on market
Serves you well Samsung. I had full problems with your crab tv with well known issues that you never accepted even china is soon better than you
It hurts more there hah?
exxix, 23 Jun 2012It does not take a genius to figure out that the owner did not use a legit charger. Overvoltag... moreIt doesn't take a genius more then five minutes to read the whole article,he wasn't using an external power source,it was running off it's own battery.
I'm surprised more super expensive phones aren't catching fire. People are fapping over them furiously. The friction alone would set fire to it.
