Do fire brigades have ladders that can reach the top of Samsung Galaxy 3?
Lucky the fire was at the bottom.

Seriously though was the phone plugged into a car charger? (the article does not specifically say it was)

My phone gets reasonably warm if I accidentally leave the WiFi on while driving (phone screen would be on together with GPS). Not hot just quite warm.

I wonder if the phone in question was mounted near an air vent with the car heating turned on.
Edit: yes source article has driver referring to his heating system.

What are the recommended operating temperatures for the SG3?
0 to 40 degrees celsius ?

When so many IPhone exploded, it was not a news. Only one S3 out of millions exploded, it is a big big news.
That summarizes everything...

My Blue GS3 was constantly overheating when connected to a charger. so much so that you could not pick up the handset as it would burn you and it left scorch marks where it was charging. i had this handset swapped straight away.

I'm surprised more super expensive phones aren't catching fire. People are fapping over them furiously. The friction alone would set fire to it.
