The biggest issue is the lifespan of the battery as it might get really hot and that will kill the battery capacity faster, forcing people to replace the battery or the phone a lot sooner and generate a bunch of waist and batteries are really bad for the environment.
But what about the efficiency...samsung note 10 charger ie 25w charger can fill 4300 mah in 55 minutes... in theory atleast 125w charger should fill the battery with in 10minutes...so greater efficiency decrease here...Chinese phones are playing with numbers I think...
If the efficiency is good, this is good. If not, this is starting to become a massive environmental problem. Burn 125W to charge a few minutes faster? It's not like we're good at protecting the environment as it is.
If the battery life is great for 2 years then it will be great.since updates are provided for 2 years it is necessary for a battery to be at full health for 2 years.if this charging tech is of good quality then y big players like samsung and apple are not doing .. including sony and nokia
