VI, 16 Jul 2020Just how much will a pc of the same spec or at least a spec that can run new gen games cost You? if we speak about laptop it will be at least 800 bucks to run doom eternal at 50% graphic detaiils.
For 100% the laptop will cost at least 1600.
For a Desktop PC it will needs the half price of a notebook. So 400 for half graphic and 800 for full graphic.

I am almost 40 years old but playing since i got my Commodore 64 when it was released as a brand new device.
But thats a very old and very long story.
But i am a heavy gamer since i was a little boy.
Even now when i run my own phone company and bussines when i get home i eat dinner and before i go sleep i spend at least 2-3 hours by gaming just to make my eyes tired enough to sleep better.
So i understand how you feel.
But past days are gone and in past consoles were a lot greater than now.
The boom when kids were walking with tetris in streets or nintendo console etc. are long time gone and nowdays there is nothing new in consoles to keep users warm.
Last great adition was maybe WII and Kinetc where you could make a gym while playing but that was maybe the best and last great invention to consoles.
Since that all is the same.

Nowdays every half baked PC does a lot more things and is better in every aspect apart the fact PC gets old quickly compared to console which can run new games for many years but when it gets old it gets really old.

And games are a lot more optimized. Consoles are meant for TVs. PC is better for mods and customizing experience though.

Sure, some of the latest Sony exclusives aren't on PS now (therefore cannot be played on PC or anything else), but that is more of a testament to how much PS Now needs to catch-up than really anything else.

In 1 year of owning a PS4, the only exclusives I enjoyed were The Last of Us part 1 and Shadow of Colossus. All the rest of the games were games that were on other platforms too, like Doom or Skyrim, or Call of Duty, Mass Effect Andromeda, Tomb Raider, etc. I didn't like for example Bloodborne or Horizon Zero Dawn, even though everybody told me I should try them.
I initially bought the PS4 slim just because it was lighter and thinner than the Xbox One S. I don't care much about exclusives.
Now I am planning to buy an Xbox One S just because of Game Pass Ultimate. Imagine playing a 60EUR game for just 15EUR. And you even get first month for 1EUR.

Don't say never if you're not a coder / developer. Plenty of emulators and cracked games out there and if there's a will, there will be a solution

The PS5 needs an aluminum frame and lots of weight to keep that spinning disc from not moving and staying stable

This is why the Ps5 should be heavy... Anybody who knows how blueray technology works should know that any high end 4K player needs an aluminum frame to keep the extremely high spinning blue ray player stable.
Jst go to Best Buy and lift the high end 4k players.. There is your answer.. You can get away with light weigh with the Digital version but not the one with the one with a disc drive
