Oneplus Not, 17 Jul 2020Wow the comments. Oneplus really managed to f it up. From the most anticipated midrangers to o... morelmao not really. Preorders sold out in record time. Loads of people love the promo going on with Amazon where you save £30.

It's just here where you get those that cry incessantly because the phone does not tick every single little box known to man and its not priced under $250. For those people, cest la vie. It is their loss not OP or anyone else's. No matter how many times they bash OP. It will not change the fact that this is a very good device borderline great and it will sell like hot cakes.

Bugsy, 17 Jul 2020Wow Pei really pulled this off , but I guess it wasn't that difficult considering their r... moreThey won't launch it at $490. $490 amounts to 36,713 rupees. The base price of the phone will be much less, say $380, and it's not unreasonable to think that the top-specced version might cost $500. If you think about it, if they launch it at $490, they would be destroying their own product market for either the one plus 8 or the Nord, and that's not what any logical company would ever do unless they want to phase out their old models.

Very disappointing, they can't even officially give the price or specification, and there is this double hole in the screen.
It's good that I have a phone from the 7 series because this year's oneplus phones are weak

Wow Pei really pulled this off , but I guess it wasn't that difficult considering their recent fans only have 1+ IQs lol..Now these gullible people are thinking it will be priced around $ 400 but keep in mind OnePlus launched 5, 5T, 6, 7 at a starting price of $ 490 , it won't be going below that in any case, since its gotten popular too. So, all those people with their pre-orders are in for a surprise.

Looks like a wonderful suspense launch, the CMO of one plus must have been a Psychiatrist rather marketing head. Never got any notifications, alerts inspite of following it regularly and still things are psychologically being handled.

Please do help me to understand why they do this?

Wow, pre-orders for something that you don't even know in advance what you'll be getting. That's even a worse deal than a Kickstarter project...

And unfortunately it looks like... moreWhy's it a "mess" it seems a sound mid ranger from the info released, all we need to know now his the price. Although not sure what all the pre-order nonsense is all about, as not sure who normally rushes out to buy a mid ranger on the day it's released, it not like it's a limited edition phone.
