CptPower, 20 Jul 2020The war between Legion and Rog just started lets see who will be the winner. Rog easily
Hi! This phone’s accessories also help the Asus Rog to stand out, especially the attachable components that turn this phone into a games console handset with the well-positioned air triggers. It makes the gaming experience one of the best on smartphones, especially with the AMOLED HDR Delta-E screen. I recommend reading this article written by Charlie Mullan about this phone https://casinovalley.ca/best-picks/best-gambling-phones/#1_Asus_Rog_Phone_2
Blackk Mamba , 19 Jul 2020Hope you use gcam for the cameras. Does wonders to it in low light. I do, especially for low light and selfies. In good light the main cam does the job just fine, sometimes better.

JDK, 19 Jul 2020ROG phone is a gaming phone with flashy lights and a ton of extra accesories, thank you. That literally chokes and strangles the iPhone 11 in every department.
Don't worry I'll lend you some charge after your battery gets over quickly.
Rog 2 had issues when Android 10 update rolled out.. will this Rog 3 have the same issues when a new Android update rolls out???

bppm bpp, 19 Jul 2020Or go outside and kick around a football. What sad sack plays games on a phone??Disgusting. You're speaking from your own point of view, not considering anybody else. What about people who can't go outside, such as in all of the densely populated cities? People who aren't socially open, extroverted, have no friends, got bullied too much in the past, have no siblings? People who live in dangerous areas? People who aren't sporty and never got that support from their parents? What about them, tell me?
I'm saying this as someone who plays football AND games on a mobile phone AND spends time with his girlfriend. And I work as well. People can do whatever they like, so stop bashing on a topic because YOU are different and want others to be the same as you. And check your f*****g privileges and be considerate towards others.

The real reason you are buying an ROG Phone is of course, mobile gaming, and if this is not why you are getting one, stay away from it.
The benefit of iPhone over ROG Phone is definitely not gaming performance. You better buy an iPhone for taking pictures and videos, using its ecosystem features (Apple Pay) and apps you can't or otherwise not as effective in Android.
ROG Phone offers superior gaming performance due to its passive and active cooling (iPhones even lack nearly all passive cooling, thus throttling somewhat quickly despite powerful CPU/GPU). You have that 120Hz OLED panel with low response time and gaming accessories.
And we know that less people buy a phone intended for mobile gaming. The market target of ROG Phones are very specific: gamers.

JDK, 18 Jul 2020I agree with him that a lot more people buy iPhones than ROG phone. Doesn't mean this isn... moreGood question, and I will start my answer with saying that I misspoke, what I mean is that it's superior for me.
Keep in mind that in terms of smartphones, I only had iPhones, until I got my ROG 2 last fall. I can say that for me, 4 things were important: price below equivalent of $800, headphone jack, long battery life, and customization. The price became too high long ago and I certainly won't settle for those iPhone 4s knock-offs called SE, the jack disappeared with the iPhone 7, the battery life is indeed much better on iPhone 11 but by then I had chosen a phone, and customization has been steadily dying since jailbreak started to disappear as well. Oh and it might seem stupid, but not having that huge notch and instead a small bezel is so much better.
I also learned to appreciate many things on the ROG 2, such as high refresh rates, high quality stereo speakers, faster charging despite using only an 18W charger, air triggers, much better heat dissipation.
Is it superior for everyone? No, there's many who can't live without waterproofing, Apple ecosystem, and better cameras (sometimes, my father owns an 11 and it doesn't do miracles). But for me, it is definitely superior. Hope that answers your question, and this does not take away from the fact that obviously iPhones are more suited for the needs of way more people.
