its sad to see that back of the ROG phone is becoming more boring with every new model.
if its REPUBLIC OF GAMERS then make it gamer phone, why turning it back to plain glass like all the other million of the phones look like.

Only gaming phones can offer throttle free performance without slowing down. Apple is way behind gaming phones with SD855.
SNAPDRAGON 865 just embarrasses the A13 chip.

The new ROG 3 will surely be a $1000 again. I don't count the Tencent Edition if they release one similarly to ROG 2 becayse the Tencent ROG 2 was a mess software-wise and that's why I sold mine after less than a couple of months.

I'm not a gamer anymore, it's many years ago now 😂, but i love big display phones as my old beloved Asus 16:9 and 6,8 inch 💙

AnonD-763241, 17 Jul 2020I don't know why these phones are called gaming phones...cannot match apple a13 performan... moreThey are called gaming phones because of the gaming features - high refresh rate, better cooling, bigger batteries, extra shoulder buttons etc. Apple might have the best SoC but they are doing nothing with it. Apple's UI isn't faster, the game performance is the same as on most Android devices because there aren't any games to take advantage of the extra power. Apple advertised the 2018 iPad Pro as having console-quality performance and then 2 years letter there are still no console games for it. That's why the Switch while weaker than all mid-tier phones nowadays is flying off the shelves. I have an iPad Pro and still only game on my Switch because at least it has proper games.

the only phone with working brain in 2020 no notch no punchhole 120hz refresh rate which iphone failed to bring.

I don't know why these phones are called gaming phones...cannot match apple a13 performance...and a14 is coming to crush...in case of pc market thats different because everyone will have access to GTX 2080 ti and all nvidia gpu s...but in mobile market...no one will go near apple chips...are these real "Gaming Phones"
