E-sim prevents one from easily switching SIM's as you do on regular dual sim phones.
You'll need to activate it again and all the other inconveniences that come with it.

Anyway. Contact backup on icloud (free) is on by default. Also by default is adding the contacts found on your gmail account and outlook if you set up the accounts. If you don't know how to do it there's a setting called accounts. click on that then add account. Once you add an account you can toggle contacts on or off.
U say you work at a phone store yet u still save contacts on SIM with limited characters and 250 tops.
kalel, 20 Jul 2020Contacts are stored to iCloud in the same way android contacts are stored to a backup to ur email Only if you add them there.
Many people for example my girlfriend uses apple just because of a brand name. To spark among others but she have no idea how to use icloud to store their contacts same goes for my mom etc.
Like 70% of people of age 40 and above use their device for just basic things which should wknown even the chicken for anything else they are completely clumsy and dumb.
AnonD-731363, 20 Jul 2020E sim is such a burden. If you loose or breaks your phone all your contacts are gone forever. Yes if you live in 2005
Unbelievable. Vodafone India gets eSim support for iPhone but Vodafone UK can't do the same. At least Vodafone are taking India seriously...
AnonD-731363, 20 Jul 2020E sim is such a burden. If you loose or breaks your phone all your contacts are gone forever. Now a days who save their contacts in SIM memory? There are lots of options available to backup your contacts.
I hope this will come to Azerbaijan as well :)
Use eSim for data always on, second sim for calls. That way if you lose the phone it can not be resold without removing the eSim i think.

Rk100, 20 Jul 2020They don't even have it in europe yet, not bad for indians users. Most European Countries support eSIM.
E sim is such a burden.

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2020Why don't they just use two Sims? So much easier.Actually I just switched to esim on my 11pro to enable me to have 2 sims in one phone, set my unlimited data to esim and my work calls yo physical sim.
I thought it would be an arse ache but it’s literally very easy and takes less space than a physical dual sim
Why don't they just use two Sims? So much easier.
Small correction: Gujrat is not a city, it is an entire state.
