This is what s... moreI agree with you and I also believe they try their best to recouperate costs for any prior R&D they've done. Samsung was working on this for 10+ years before they introduced it. I won't be upgrading my phone until the Fold 3 comes out, but my Fold creaks when it is closed so I'm very much interested in the build quality as much as the aesthetics and screen upgrade. It's perfectly fine when it's open and the screen crease is no more visible than it was when I got it repaired in December or prior to that.
I'm also certain someone here has the Z. I'm not sure if they are experiencing any creaks since it has probably only been a few months.

I hope the rumour about samsung dropping galaxy buds live from the z fold 2 package is wrong or the price will be under 1800.

Samsung was smart when they introduced the fold 1. They didn't go all big. This is what smart companies like companies like Samsung do. Version 1.0 is supposed to be minimalistic. Version 2.0 you go beast mode. People will upgrade and jump to 2.0 because there are huge noticeable differences. Ask your self why Samsung has been in the business since 1984. They know the logistics very well. Your first product on the market is supposed to be fat, big and chunky just like sony playstation, then develop it from there..you will keep making tons of money.

I am stoked to see the innovations for the new Fold. Hope by the third generation, I can actually consider buying one. My S10 5G will have to serve me until next year.
