I don't know much about nubia, only from gsmarena and tech spurt, but it does seem cool. 3 prolems though.
1.)Camera, comparing the newest nubia with my bs2, it's waay worse. Definetley enough for a few snaps,but you're getting the same camera that you'd get on a 200 pound smartphone.
2.)Battery life. 4 hours of pubg vs my 5 is a bit worse
3.)Software. It's quite bad, especially poor translations.
I haven't met the new bs, but it seems better than the nubia, but at a higher price without a fan.
I don't prefer any of them, but they all seem like solid smartphones.
I'm also afraid that the nubia won't have these on screen iphone 8 home button like vibrations.

MagicMonkeyBoy, 21 Jul 2020Don't worry... The Black Shark 3S Pro will be launched soon. Not with that kind of software. ASUS is willing to have it's software as open source as possible for all the XDA Devs out there which is Pro-Consumer to me. I'm glad ASUS is still sending out updates on their website for my Global Rom'd Tencent RoG 2 to be updated to the latest. Now I realize that I don't need to be spoonfed by OTA where I can just do it myself; It's the same.
Now going back, I've seen comments months ago that Xiaomi Black Shark is not like that.

The accessories are a waste of money. I bought all of them for the US version ROG phone 2, and their lack of support with many games and lack of functionality and updates/support is sad. The desktop dock was the biggest waste of money, as you can't set output resolution and are SUPER limited with the button configuration/mapping for any game you want to play. The concept is nice, but just a gimmick.

From lawyers... To business owners... Even a former tier 3 former Apple employee who has an iPhone 11 Pro max. Even he is in awe of Android and especially there gaming phones. Even business owners in New York. Had enough of Apple. Now want a gaming phone. Android powered. - After using an iPhone. And my oneplus... Red Magic and gaming phones in general are a quantum leap from your conventional flagship. To be honest. Especially when it comes to gaming... There is a huge difference. You can compare specs on paper... But when immersed on a gaming phone. Nothing comes close to a proper gaming phone. Not even close. Period. Full stop. Hammer down. Case closed.
