Long story short, both have identically spec'd displays but the actual performance (especially the peak brightness) is vastly superiour on the latter which uses Samsung OLED.

Dennis.K, 21 Jul 2020I think to be on the safe side try Mate 30 5GI have Honor 30 already...i bought it because its the same 7nm chips with Kirin 990 or 990 5G... I Just asked myself why spending more for the same 7nm chips thats why i bought Honor 30 a month ago..... I Just need a flagship phone from Huawei with 5nm chip.. It gna be a good upgrade for me...!!!

Imagine if you were to buy a car with valve timing totally messed up, wouldn't you consider it to be the manufacturer fault ?
As far as I am concerned, I consider the last Samsung display to be bad quality because of that.

I usually prefer Kimovil over GSMArena as it give more data, like the camera sensor model, but GSMArena also have its own unique data too.

But based on what peoples say, it is like if BOE have absolutely no chances at making good displays...?

(legit question)Because samsung has good reputation with the displays they sell, very high spec and probably best in class colors and brightness too, go look at P50 Pro+ display lab test in review vs P40 and P40 Pro display lab tests also in their reviews, P40 Pro + uses samsung display vs BOE for P40/ P40 Pro

Kek, 21 Jul 2020If you are seriously complaining about color accuracy, you shouldnt be using Amoled to begin with. How is this about color accuracy? My S8 doesn't display grey as green anywhere on the screen, but my S10 Lite does, randomly. Sometimes it's grey and then it's glitching out.
