Can GSMArena write an article detailing the differences between full android and Android Go. What would a consumer lose in terms of app installations and device functionality if he or she chooses Android Go device over full Android?

If you only do light tasks or only using Lite apps, you really wouldn't tell any difference at all. I know that because I still have my mum's old Samsung Galaxy Tab4 7.0 tablet with 1.5GB and only use Lite apps. But if you always open a lot of apps at the same time or using an app's non-Lite standard version or even do a lot of mobile gaming, that extra 2GB RAM can definitely be very useful.

As maximum people have phones having 2 gb ram and they are working on it . But after preventing them it will affect them badly. Only mobile company's having 4 gb or more will get benifit.

Donbenie, 22 Jul 20204Gb Ram is not useless,I own a 4Gb Ram phone and it runs just fine.. Well it depends on how well the processor and the UI cope with memory optimization management. If it doesn't do the job well, it will eventually lag.

AnonD-909757, 22 Jul 2020Make sense, it is like nowaday 32bits systems aren't really supported anymore by tons of ... moreBad example with 32bits. Google OS, and I mean just Android, requires more and more RAM with each update. Could you kindly compare what Android 12 can do that Android 5 can't? I would gladly use any other easily installed OS (not from "I" company) that has the same RAM requirements and settings as Android 5 years ago
My example: I had Android 5 around 2 years ago. I changed it to Android 10 with a new phone. I still use the same functions: sms, apps, calls etc. And it's 1GB RAM then vs 3GB RAM now. I cannot stress enough that I don't see any difference these 2GB are doing. It's like I'm mining bitcoins for google, who knows.
What I'm trying to say is Google has the monopoly in smartphones with its preinstalled Android. It's like Windows in PC, almost exact. And if you try to change OS, you lose guarantee, support, critical updates, with possibility to screw up big time to completely ruin your phone. So it can do anything, even releasing stuff with not optimized codes.

Heck even my old Windows 10 notebook runs fine with 4gb of ram.

The problem why a lot of Android phones have issues with "not enough ram" is more because of all the bloat there is on some phones, and that includes apps, forced functionality that can't be turned off, skins and so on, I prefer companies do something about THAT instead of releasing phones with stupid amount of RAM to "solve the issue the lazy way"

While I'm sure the task to optimize the OS for several different phones, SOCs and manufacturers is enormous, Google definately has the capacity and capability to do so.
Also, 3/32 was totally normal just a couple years ago, many people still use their older phones for a multitude of reasons. Those phones should not be made "obsolete", and people should not be "forced" to upgrade.
