In a... moreAt least make differentiation because not all small hands / people like so big size phone. I mean, the size of Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro is enough (6.5 inch max in size and 200g is max in weight). Yes small size mobile phone is less interesting but iPhone 11 and 11 Pro are quite sold well. BBK and Huawei still also make mobile phone below 6.5 inch screen size and less than 195g weight.

s3xy, 23 Jul 2020Are you just trolling or what? Never cheated? Do you read news? https://www.anandtech.com/sho... moreOK tell me why this article shows the results of a single test : PCMark...

I will tell you!
Most other benchmarks give between 1 and 6% differences with "cheating", that's what tasks scheduling brings nothing more.
PCMark's difference is huge.
Reason is simple : PCMark doesn't use big cores...
For exemple, when PCMark's Webbrowsing subtest is running, not a single big core is involved.
When you are running Chrome, it uses big cores without any problem.

PCMark doesn't work properly on nearly every devices I've tested (with soc from Mediatek, Realtek, Amlogic, Rockchip...)
PCMark's editor know the problem since 2018, PCMark's last update was...un 2017!!!

Anandtech's author knows the problem and refused to do further investigation! That's dishonnest.
He will probably receive his Snapdragon 875's prototype for testing!

Do your own tests

Knowing how Redmi Note Series is positioned within the hierarchy of Xiaomi smartphones, it is very unlikely that D820 will be used for Redmi Note 10 Series. For a 5G focused Redmi 10 Series, the likely SoCs will be D720, SD690G, and the forthcoming Dimensity 600.

How is it cheating if chipset is performing at its full potential.
That author straight up reports to his master Anand Lal, an Apple employee.

If Xiaomi could incorporate the Amoled in their Note series, even if for the pro, I feel they could sell alot more because they already offer prolly the best performance to price ratio

Now it's no more... Same Process node as Qualcomm, but even better processors in terms of speed... but Qualcomm is better on ISP and Efficiency... But it doesn't mean Snapdragon 765G is better than Dimensity 820... It does provide more raw performance..

I feel you are being jealous, MTK is catching up to Qualcomm level.. And even low cost midrangers are now getting same performance as Higher priced Premium Midrange having Qualcomm In it...

Grow up

s3xy, 23 Jul 2020And who cares if nowdays mediatek still keep cheating about benchmarks right? Well, Mediatek has never cheated in benchmarks and perhaps it's the smartphone brands which should be accused for this. And you know what, if this is a cheating, how about Snapdragon and Exynos doing it since 2013?
