Litterary every phone nowdays with 6-8GB of ram and good CPU can rin any game without lagg.
Xiaomi redmi note 8 pro for 200 is a good example.
Pocophone is still great phone.
And this Legion is made for gamers so for normlan phone use i mean if you do other things more than gaming a clasical phone such as Poco is better than a legion series made by Lenovo which was made for gamers and horizontal use.

If the lowest model is indeed 500-550$, even if it's an imported CN one, it could be this year's ROG 2 CN version, because ROG 3 is clearly a lackluster. The cheapest version is like 900$, only supports a headphone jack through an accessory(not sure if it's included in the Strix(budget) edition), has only 30W charging, because it's built around playing and charging(thus killing your battery, albeit hopefully slower), no wireless charging... Basically it has less gamer features than Blackshark 3 Pro, which has bigger screen, better resolution(thus better user experience) and faster charging.
This phone seems to go somewhere in between, and if it's "Better than Red Magic Fanmeme" and "Cheaper than Blackshark 3 Pro(the only Blackshark worth buying)" - then it could be the gaming phone of the year. Last year ROG 2 snatched that title with their surprise "half price" CN version, and that was credit where it was due. I kind of hopes Asus would keep that trend, but if they don't - someone else will, apparently.

The little refinements in software easily make the whole experience better and is worth the extra 10k.
If this comes to India it will sell like hot cakes considering its 38000 rupees price tag compared to the 50000 rupees ROG3 which is an exorbitant price. People won't mind losing 1000mah of battery.

I honestly kind of disappointed with BS 3, ROG and RM3 to jacked up their price quite significant (well due to SD865 higher price) and an additional gimmicky camera (macro).

They didn't think correctly about the 90w charging and then lied about it.
Should have put 2 type c ports on the bottom and another 2 type c ports on the side if that's the hardware limitation (only 45w per port) of their phone.
They made it worse by marketing the 90w. Lienovo again. Nobody gaming would use bottom port and nobody using phone in portrait mode would use the side port.
Better put 4 ports there in legion phone 2 if that's still your concept.

I'm not sure why some people are crying about the slogan and design. It will get covered in day 1 and you'll remain with an extremely powerful, yet rather cheap mobile phone. This pricing is something we could only expect from Xiaomi before and I'm really impressed by the pefromance for price ratio in this top tier beast…

This is a surprisingly TACKY design for a Lenovo Legion product, especially since their laptops are famous for being the exact opposite of this (understated, not not shouty or "gamer-y" like the Predator Helios line or equivalent MSIs and ROG Zephyrus).
If Lenovo used the exact same design language with their Legion laptops as on this phone, we would have a simple black brick like the Razer Phone or Note FE. Just saying.
