I don't know what you're talking about. You could just change some fonts and anything else, it's all smooth sailing for my RoG Phone II experience. Still, Asus is now doing it as stock-like as possible. Sure, RoG UI doesn't look stock but it's more updatable than other gaming oriented UI.
jamesschwarz987, 22 Jul 2020With that side mounted pop up cam, users might enforced to be getting use to video calling and... moreAll video calling and teleconferencing are done in landscape mode anyway.
jamesschwarz987, 22 Jul 2020The one who designed this must be really hate selfie generations lolYou have to remember that there is a lot of mobile gamers out there stream their mobile gaming session, particularly on Facebook and YouTube. So it makes sense for the camera to be mounted on landscape-style mode.

"The phone will also ship with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage."
16GB RAM? That's more than what my current laptop has for God sake! You know what this shows? This clearly shows how bloated and inefficient Android's memory management. I can easily bet that you can see big size of junk if you do some memory cleaning. No wonder why iOS and Windows Phone can perform faster despite way less RAM count.

honestly, IMO the shape and design of this phone is good actually, but I just dont like the decals
jamesschwarz987, 22 Jul 2020Gamers are not like average dudes. they don't selfie nor video calling, what a great gene... moreLike i said, of course not. The landscape selfie camera solve the problem about directly facecam while livestream or gaming without using any extra accesories. Camera pop up on the top clash with your hand while landscaping, bezels needs additional space on the screen and so on. Anyway, let see how it goes.

50% charge in 10min.
That's a 5000mAh battery as well.
Even the entry level comes in at £394 when converted into British currency. It will be very interesting to see this phone in Europe. When/if it actually does launch in Europe, ASUS will have some competition, providing Lenovo nails the UI. If they keep ZEN UI for the European models it's going to be a flop,
Pricing is too good to be true
Even adding $100 for international versions still makes it a sweet deal
Where is the traumatised "lienovo" fan group?
Here is the phone with all the promised specs delivered...
Innocent until proven guilty people every phone must be judged case by case
Everything is good except the bezels they couldve at least make it symmetrical, the chin is not the same with the top/left bezel which is pretty irritating just like with mainstream phones... I think ill go with rog 3...
wow ...all these flagship specks for just over $500 dollars, am i reading right?
