This phone let's per say it doesn't consists of high end SoC yet it's price is so high, it's build quality is that of those mid range phones, and only good thing I found in Nord is it's camera but those r not so important for me i would still go for SoC 855+ which comes with lot cheaper price than 865 and I don't want 5G phone not for next few years until all operators are up and running it well.

A plastic frame has miles better... moreHaving a plastic frame means that the structural integrity will be slightly weaker than aluminium. This is important especially we have a lot of glass sandwich design nowadays.
Aluminium frames won't stop bullets but it will able to withstand bending pressure if you're the kind of person who put phones on back pocket or having kids playing phone.
Of course, the advantage of using plastic frames is probably cost-saving, better reception and having a much lighter phone. (Though that's not really the case with this phone, it's quite heavy for 184g)
Yeah, this phone is overpriced since you can get a better build phone for cheaper price.

Personally I am after specific things, pop up because privacy is the most important thing we can get, and as a bonus to have a true uninterrupted display, 3D facial recognition to have a well secure yet convenient unlocking method, combined with something like the Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max, and the other specs I said, though as long as it have flat display, I could accept compromises on the rest, the issue is that all those are already a non existing combinaison, and since there is literally no variety, it isn't for anytime soon...

well, first one was pill shaped camera that was a No No for me, but i was thinking to let that pass then there was plastic frame, that did it for me. No NORD for me.
Also Mono Speaker and No Dolby Atmos instead you get Dirac audio like their 2yr old phones.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G is is the best choice for a mid range phone. It's cheaper and have 3.5mm jack (a mandatory requirement on my phones).

Would it still cost 400€? I doubt it.
The only phones I know of with those monster level features are S10 and S10+ but in Europe they sell them with a 💩 Exynos SoC and without FM radio and IrDA port.
Answering your question yes Oneplus Nord is overhyped because in any case I would prefer Oneplus 7T over it.

That weak battery would be dead in 2 years with all the battery degradation scandals Apple has been caught in.
Besides, how futureproof is that 5 year old design and 4.7 inch 720p display? It is not usable unless you are in some niche category happy with tiny display.
