To be brutally honest, I can only trust Juan Bagnell from SomeGadgetGuy when it comes to LG. Boy, he really made an effort to show EVERYTHING, right down to the smallest detail. It's so hard to find tech reviewers with that kind of effort.
Geralb, 24 Jul 2020Yeah they tested it on auto mode if you use it on pro and know what you doing the camera is in... moreYup, I so can agree with you. I've seen Juan Bagnell from SomeGadgetGuy showing off the LG Camera's manual setting and boy I'm in love with it! LG's focus peaking feature is an instant win for me.

Where one phone is cl... moreSoftware could do even more than 20 points difference actually, Google and Sony are good exemple of low resolution sensor that perform at least as good as the 100MP+ sensors, it come down to the software, just look at how massively improved some phones, like the Galaxy S10/20 have their picture quality boosted after an update, mostly the 100x zoom, before and after is day and night, the result is massively different.
Uesera, 24 Jul 2020Welp, screw auto mode. LG is for Manual control, which is one of the best out there.Yes they have manual mode even for 8k recording as well as manual mode for super slow motion recording.
No other manufacturer giving manual mode for these two things.
Welp, screw auto mode. LG is for Manual control, which is one of the best out there.

Where one phone is close to matching flagship cameras in terms of score and the other one behind with 2 year old flagships?
DxOMark score doesn't say anything. The V60 pictures look great.
The first cameras to record 4K or 8K? Even 8K can't be credited to it, can it?
this sums up everything :
both V60 vs S20+ have the same zoom method no real telephoto and yet they have different score.
LG V60 got 45 points .... S20+ got 81 points
Rareart1, 24 Jul 2020To me, the v30 and v35 are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to hold, and I am 183 cm tall young man.You have small hands then
Rareart1, 24 Jul 2020To me, the v30 and v35 are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to hold, and I am 183 cm tall young man.It is a matter of taste and personal preference, for me I don't use phones with screen size that is below 6.4 inch, and I am 181cm in height.
Billyc, 24 Jul 2020Please name some of "those" reviewers!
As everywhere I see, they all say one thing ... moreYes, some of them say underrated but when they recommend phones or compare the top phones they don't mention it.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2020The fact that DxoMark was the best review portal for smartphone cameras was true only until 20... moreI agree with most of you. The V60 camera is better than the Samsung CEO plus. Dxo ain't shut. Why do they even have a business lol.
The only said thing is that the LG V60 is, that it's not available in my Country. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
The moment you realise that half of those DxO scored parameters, that are interchangable stuff like exposure, dynamic range, contrast etc... has nothing to do with image quality but only subjective photo adjustment preferences...
Is the moment you realise why DxO scoring is flawed and misleading, and should not be made a referal point to any objective camera grading directed to a consumer.
It scores cameras only according to their own preset parameter likings.
