Please, there is still no evidence Huawei is a security threat but they are a commercial threat through cornering the 5G market and making excellent smartphones. And that's really all they are.

To be fair it seems to be a problem with the country's economy.
Here in the UK and the rest of europe Huawei/Samsung flagships are the same price more or less as the pro versions of iPhones.
Think about it this way. Can you blame Porsche for selling expensive cars? No. In Europe there are a lot of Porsches around, BMW, Audis, Mercs etc. It's the nature of the product.
I'm not here to discuss whether Huawei is a threat or not. It's capitalism vs communism. A Huawei phone runs an american OS with an american developed CPU. Huawei's CEO was a communications researcher for the communist army of China. Then suddenly they became the monopoly for 5G. U can find a lot of information online about how Huawei won all offers for 5G infrastructure. Sometimes the infrastructure will come at a loss! Why would a company do that? Also why do u think Huawei is going for their inbuilt CPU and always have unlockable bootloaders? hmm
Is it really "manufacturing production"? Or "assembly production"?
:-D
as usual make overprice phone, but the notch still big n thicc

LMFAO
ithehappy, 25 Jul 2020Lol. Are you actually supporting this new trend of not bundling a charger with a mobile phone?... moreIt makes sense. Many people just don't want charging brick as they already have one. Giving an option to buy or not to buy is a good thing.
Don't blabber about the greed until you know the upcoming price with the change.
Anonymous, 25 Jul 2020I think what will happen is that iphone in India will cost the same as elsewhere in the world.... moreApple iPhones are ridiculously expensive here in India. Even if we remove all tariffs, taxation etc and merely apply exchange rate to iPhones in USD, it will still be very very expensive for the most of the population. iPhones destined to be only with 1% and it is nowhere near 4% as you have mentioned. The worst part is Samsung is closing the gap with iPhones in price very fast each passing year. Only consolation for some is that they offer mid rangers after stripping many of its premium specs which is forcing enthusiasts to move to value offerings like OnePlus, RealMe,Xiomi etc...even Vivo is thinking they are sort of midrange Apple!
I find the reason for these crazy prices is pointing to USA capitalistic monopoly gold diggers like Apple & Qualcomm trying force the major competitors like Huawei out of the market with bullying and anti trading policies by mixing fake claims on Chinese government spies them and forcing the rest of the world to eat their experience shits so that they can eliminate competition and charge premium with freeway access!
This is very very bad for rest of the world, American corporations throttling competition and innovation!
I think what will happen is that iphone in India will cost the same as elsewhere in the world. Right now iPhones are more expensive in India than in Europe which makes them stupidly expensive. No wonder only 4% of phones run iOS there.
Sometimes the price is driven by the governments not apple. I hope this means that people in India can finally enjoy iOS if they want to.
Here in the UK iphones cost more or less like any other android flagship. So unless you are a fanboy you can switch to iOS and then back to Android if you want. That's what I do. I used to be a Note guy before switching to iPhone. I'm due an upgrade this November and i'll see what takes my fancy. Note or iPhone pro. Same price. If only some people would be as openminded.

You seem to know too much about India not being an Indian. So try minding business of wherever you live.
[deleted post]You will always have the option to buy Made in China ones, which will align perfectly with your brain's quality.
[deleted post]You have only two options...either made in China (only for Pakistani) and for the rest of the world it would be Made in India only, now and in future. Ha ha ha
Hello Life, 25 Jul 2020Thanks god, now people will get well made iphones. Chinese made iphones have too many issuesWhat issues are you talking about?
[deleted post]And yes that dust entering matter very few people face that and thats the problem of the brand that assembles it that is foxconn what india has to do with it.And phones cost 1.5x more in USA and australia cause they don't hqve any production facility.U hate a country good no prob but u should know it correctly many good phones are made in india without any defect in india u don't seem to say about them.U have problem with india its fine but see where the problem really is

Sino-Indian border ha... moreThe fact that you think iPhone is a compromise compared to Xiaomi reveals your troll nature. I would gladly prefer iPhone over a phone that mostly uses mid range components including processors, has poor software, lots of bloatware and poor core OS updates. Not to mention, even poorer security. But the security part is by design of course. And Huawei is paying for it already.
Of course you think India has enroached into LAC...heavily dependent on Chinese media I see. Which conveniently ignores the fact that the land is ours in the first place and China has refused time and again for a concrete border agreement.
China also claims ownership of China sea, Vietnam and islands off the Japanese coast.
It if we're upto China the entire world would be its own. But the era of expansionist regimes has ended.
