This is exciting. Dimensity 720 is made for affordable users and I think it will be pretty performance based as well.

They add value with 5G, better performance and higher refresh rate then nerf the cameras really hard. Then charge what seems to be an inappropriate price.

For the 2nd half of 2020, incoming phones will be 5G by default. Let's get rid of the 5G suffix from the phone names. Be ready for a world where all new phones are 5G phones.

The pricing seems off, with many incoming phones based on D800 and SD765G priced near $200.

Unlike D820 and D1000+, MediaTek is betting on D800 and D720 to move the volumes, and has made them more widely available to many phone makers in volumes. (In all likelihood, D720 and D800 will be the two most used 5G SoCs in the 2nd half of 2020, helping the 'complete' and 'total' transition from 4G phones to 5G phones.) The target for D720 based phones will be near $150 and that for D800 based phones will be near $200.

I came from using Nokia 8 (2017) and comparing to my RoG Phone 2, the RoG Phone 2 may be a bit taller but it's nearly narrower than my 5'5 inch 16:9 Nokia 8. Increasing the ratio makes the phone taller but still as grippable as the phones from 3-5 years ago. Plus, phones nowadays has "no" bezels so it's technically as small or large as the 2016 - 2017 phones.

Would be fun to see how Dimensity 720 performs.
IMO it is going to kill the Snapdragon 730G.

Let me guess you still using 16:9 aspect ratio phone, nowadays 18:9 6 5" is equal to that of 5 5 of 16:9, then again you can always buy a 1.5" screen Nokia 100 which should fit your tiny hand.
