I miss the various phone profiles which were a hallmark characteristic of this site going back to, at least, 2002. The early 2000s were a remarkable time in phone development as manufacturers threw everything against the wall to see what would stick. Present day, we get the rectangle, reimagined, every six months and it's all about screen real estate and refresh rates. As a certified oldster now I can say that my old eyes aren't that discerning. For the record, my favorite phone of all time is the Sanyo SCP-5500. That little phone (still have mine) was the wonder of its day when it was released in late-2003. Nothing since has excited me as much as that device which I bought from Sprint. I also got one for my girlfriend, later my fiancée, at the same time and we had a blast with those.

I can't have a cover that makes it difficult to use the phone in a vehicle mount. That being said, it's easy enough to shuck the phone from one case and place it in another. I used some of the Samsung store credit from buying a pair of Note10 Pluses last year on two cases and i had been using three types of cases until I retired my primary Note10 Plus (my brother has the other) a few days ago because I'm going to trade it on a Note20 Ultra. Should I be concerned about microbes on my phones?

Xiaomi already did this, but only in China. The Mi 10 Lite 5G Youth Edition is being sold with an antibacterial soft cover, as well as an antibacterial, factory applied, screen protector.
I expect this „feature“ to become more and more common, in the next months, as a way to attract customers, since the COVID-19 pandemic keeps wreaking havoc.
