Sadly 8.03mm is extremely thin !!!
Used 6.03mm OPPO R7 lite
My present phone LG G7 ThinQ is 7.9mm

Honestly? I'd take this iPhone-style notch over the dual punch hole (the 'pill') any time of the day.

And not only because the notch is less ugly than a punch-hole, but because of functionality as well - the race for maximum screen-to-body ratio forced manufacturers to cut corners on what used to be in comfortably sizeable area - for example the ambient light sensor had to be put under screen where it simply doesn't work as well...
