HappyBerry, 28 Jul 2020"there’s no option to switch to microSD" - to be precise, the option is there in Set... moreGot the update. Selected SD card for storage in PhotoPro (SDXC kingston canvas plus so speed shouldn't be a problem in theory). When I select JPEG to take photos in, they save to the SD card. When I select RAW+Jpeg (so both are recorded), it saves to internal storage (and "only RAW" isn't selectable yet). Still a bit to work out for Sony I guess.

They sold it like a dream phone and a ACTUAL sharing between their internal division and in the end, it's not. Good luck Sony when you will seel it for 600 EUR in a few month.

Fearghast, 28 Jul 2020Because Sony does not care to release phones with finished software features?Or the phone gets released around the globe at a different time. Phone makers do such to know the pulse of the public. Heck, if nothing like this is happening in the industry, S20 Ultra should have a fixed focus issue out of the box. Still, focus is crap and they have tried sending updates since release.

Unfortunately it won't save Xperia from taking crappy photos. All things considered, Sony is still far behind the competition in mobile photography. They're thinking that it's okay to treat a smartphone like DLSR :). I'd agree with that I I saw fantastic results. At the moment looking at dozens of full size photo samples makes me laugh.

Phone isn't heating to 53°C while charging and gaming, it's hitting that temperature during normal pubg operation at 60hz.
Other non gaming phones are staying cool under 45°C.
So Sony need to fix it.

I wish the other two cameras were also capable of shooting in 4K 60fps, but at least their 4K 30fps also look really good, especially in terms of stabilization, where others like the iPhone 11 Pro Max and Galaxy S20 Ultra both have micro jitters due to EIS while Sony has minimalistic ones.
