"there’s no option to switch to microSD" - to be precise, the option is there in Settings for Photo Pro and Camera but is not enabled (yet).

and now you can play with the captures on the digital darkroom the better... but still not for the "point and shoot" that most smartphone users are... waiting to see what happens if xperia 1 ii lands into the hands of digital photographers... hmmm will the mobile lightroom be enough?
