It still feels premium to the touch. He doesn't review realme and vivo cause he's afraid of it blowing up in his hands. Also no american/european buys anything else but samsungs, apples, oneplus's, motorola's and hardly xiaomi's. He does reviews for people with money, and that's why he has so many subs, because here, in europe and america, there are waaay more rich people than not (although i'm not the case sadly, probably has to do with the fact that I'm romanian). The only xiaomi products we buy are everything but phones, and in my case I bought a black shark 2 because it was the cheapest phone with a sd855 4 months ago, it was 400 euros which was great
Thats interesting considering Huawei repeatedly posting that their sales are better than ever..
AnonD-454049, 29 Jul 2020MKBHD is a paid shill, no one should take his "reviews" seriouslyWhen he reviews pixels, iphones, samsungs, he take it seriously by reviewing every parts and details of them. But when reviewing Chinese brands aside from Oneplus, he skipped at least one of their selling points.
Huawei : doesn't mention their ultrawide nighttime video and 10x optical zoom
Oppo : doesn't mention the screen as detailed as the Oneplus 8 Pro
He does not even bother to review Vivo,, realme, and some xiaomi phones. Even on his collab with Mrwhosetheboss, he said he wanna try the Realme X2 Pro, but in the end. Nothing.
I don't like someone who sides with one brand. I more like people who is being honest. If it is a good product then the brand enjoy it. If it is a bad product, don't defend it. It is the brand's fault. When reviewing the Poco F1 he complained it feel cheap on the frame cuz of plastic and say it "WEAK and CHEAP". While when reviewing the Oneplus Nord, he didn't even mention the Oneplus Nord's frame snapping in half, and said "it feels premium". I don't understand why some Youtubers defend something that is bad from a brand.

Interesting
[deleted post]I am looking for quality, i don't side with brands. If the product is good, then i will say good, i wouldn't overhyped it like Samsung did. If it is bad, then i would say bad, not like youtubers like MKBHD that says the iphone se battery is good.
[deleted post]I don't look brand, i look quality. I stay with a brand if it keeps making high quality products that is very good. I used to be an Samsung and Apple fanboy. I stop being them when samsung released the S10 and Iphone Xs. They bring very least upgrades compared to previous generation.
2021 might not look any better for the CCP bodybuilders. Right now they are only losing sales. If EU, NA and the 5Eyes countries start asking questions about how badly China mismanaged the initial covid boom (not even talking about the virus' origin) and willingly let the virus spread just to save face during their time of celebrations...China might start seeing Iran / North Korea style sanctions from the global majority.
Some rude awakemings lie in China's horizons.
They release too many phones almost every week . They need to learn from Apple, not too many phones but great ones means better sales, value ans services and customer will be happy

Apple has 400EUR-600EUR phones too. The only "problem" that Apple has (at least from Android fanboys perspective) is that they do not make 150-200EUR phones. And honestly, why should they? They built their reputation as a trusted premium company. When you built a name for yourself and you are on top, you don't go back at lower level, just to please everybody.
But, there is still a workaround to this too (if you really want IOS). You can buy a 150-200EUR 3-4 years old iphone. Still better than every Android phone in that price mark.

No one rivals Huawei in putting 2 secure biometric security (Fingerprint and 3D face unlock)
Only Apple rivals Huawei in battery management department.
No other companies rival Chinese phones in fast charging speeds.
No other companies rival Chinese phones in Signal receiving or connection.
Chinese companies are great, they force other companies to work hard and make an great innovation to our lives, so we consumers win.
So stop complaining.
The global sentiment is against China and Chinese companies due to Covid 19. No one wants to buy Chinese products if they have alternatives.
Going ahead Chinese companies will face a tough time in overseas markets.
Will be worse if its biggest market, India, bans Chinese smartphones like they ban Chinese apps. Time will tell.
paco2x, 28 Jul 2020How Apple will convince people of buying +$1000 phones in the middle of pandemic, financial do... moreOnly few people buys a $1000+ iPhone.
That's why they are looking for the cheaper model costing $700+ and it's selling a lot.
dbjungle, 28 Jul 2020Probably doesn't help they charge $200 extra for NA and EU customers for the same device.Yeh but income and cost of living plays a huge part of things. Why do u think phones in India are way cheaper than here in UK/Europe... Because their yearly income and cost of living is much lower compare to European countries . Apparently the average yearly salary for a software engineer in India is 516,000 Indian rupees which converts to £5300 or just under $7000. A job where in majority of countries is considered to be skilled . Samsung look at them, the S20 ultra 5G in America costs 900 dollars ( a 500 dollar saving to what it originally is) in UK it's £1200 the exact price as what it was 4 months ago. Your countries economy, tax, shipping, the company's marketing. They all play a part in which inflation of goods
paco2x, 28 Jul 2020How Apple will convince people of buying +$1000 phones in the middle of pandemic, financial do... moreLike years before, but this year, there will be good, compact iPhone (12), with almost half the price of 1000usd (549$), so i guess, there will be no problem for them..
But for others, who knows, esp those with 'MediaTek' 5G SoCs, even for 200$..
