Android.Master, 29 Jul 2020Isn't wireless mirroring already there? You just need a fast enough Internet connection... moreWell, I have said „until it becomes MAINSTREAM“, available out of the box, on the majority of smartphones, using a common standard.

Anonymous, 29 Jul 2020Wow, Xiaomi finally adds USB 3.0/3.1 ... Should have added that years ago on their other flagships. No, it's still 2.0, that's why it mirroring not display port output. Strange they implement something wired instead of USB-C 3.x.

This needs a type c port on the sides so you can hold the phone when gaming and no cable is in the way of hands.

Otherwise it's not perfect execution of a great idea.

Btw, is this allowed in pubg?

Besides the recent ROG 3 has direct display port connectivity. So say goodbye to USB.

Screen mirroring is a really nice feature. Remember when tablets used to come with mini-HDMI ports? 😌

Until wireless screen mirroring becomes mainstream (and even after), I wish that all phones would allow mirroring over USB. Of course, they would need USB 3.X, for speeds comparable to HDMI 1.X . I wonder why most OEMs still stick to the slow USB 2.0 standard, on smartphones. Is it that expensive to license USB 3.X?

I wish this has a Global release as extensive as Asus but it seems that Joy UI looks bloated to the point that the programmers will have a hard time developing monthly updates.
