The sale of 13 million iphones for Q2 of 2020 is a surprisingly huge number, especially if you consider that the total numbers of iphones ever sold in India since the very first introduction of iphones to India more than 10 years ago is not yet 3 millions!

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2020What’s up with all the Android sour grapes in this comment section? The reasons i switched because there is no regular updates. Your phone will be abandoned after 2 years and it starts to act weird after I downloaded so many apps even my storage has a lot of space

T M, 29 Jul 2020The SE was a game changer. Game changer in bezel, that is for sure.
Now if it had much less bezel and a much better battery life, but as is, meh, iPhone XR or 11 is where its at.

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2020Can't wait for the new iPhone 12 lineup sales. The startup price is $549, It's going... moreWho said it's 549$?
        It's 649$ for 64gb non expandable storage.
Most Android flagships come with 128gb base storage so technically iPhone 12 price goes up to 749$ for 128gb variant.

It also has small 5.4" screen compared to average 6.5" screen for Android flagships.
So if you want 6.5" screen and above, you need to buy Pro Max version which starts at 1149$.

Plus they are looking to get rid of accessories in the box and sell cables at 129$ and chargers at similar expensive price.
They aren't crushing any high end Android let alone budget Android flagships which come as cheap as 500$ and offer more.

At china, the true competition is only between Apple and Huawei. They are tied.

Well as expected, the entry level and midranger portion of the market are the ones affected by the ongoing crisis, the high level segment of ALL consumer goods is barely affected, as the people conforming it, have more than enough money at their disposal

Of course! for 600USD or more, it makes no economic sense buying an android unless you are a nerd, love gadgets (i.e. Those who love the gimmicks and freedom of android) or you are financially ok and can buy a new $1000 phone every 2 years.
1400/5 is less than 1000/2, not to mention the Apple branding and security.
