The Snapdragon 765 is not as powerful as a Snapdragon 855. Google should at least make their sequel to the Pixel 4 more powerful than the Pixel 4. A Snapdragon 855+ would be good. $549 would be an okay price if it has most modern features like periscope zoom and a 90hz refresh rate, and good battery life.
Sus, 09 Aug 2020its has 128 gb what more do you wantIs it really the pixel 5 gonna be having the 765G SD not the 865+ ??? Wtf im gonna stick with my pixel 4 though what's the point right??
Cpt. Obvsly, 03 Aug 2020150USD more for 4A means I don't need 5G. Simple for me. If I need 5G I would buy someth... moreOr just pay more and get F2 Poco Pro or a lot more and get OP 8. Both have actual 5G capabilities in SD865 than overrated SD765G with slower speeds.

Dometalican, 03 Aug 2020My hopes:
2K@90Hz refresh rate 6.5" P-OLED panel
Return of symmetrical bezel for the ... more6.5" is too big, bring it down to 5.8"
4000mAH is already good enough these days, I'd even take 3700mAH
Also why would you want the same MP on selfie and main camera? Their post processing is the greatest of any phone anyway.
Honestly we'd be lucky to get this for $800, knowing google your specs are more like $1200
Anonymous, 06 Aug 2020You don't need it.I do. It isn't just speed. The 8 series have more features.
AngryLithuanian, 06 Aug 2020Probably just a wishful thinking but what would you choose: Pixel 4a 5G for extra $150 O... moreUnless the phone is physically bigger, they /can't/ use a bigger battery. Especially with 5G antennas filters and rf amps taking up additional space.
Probably just a wishful thinking but what would you choose:
Pixel 4a 5G for extra $150
everything's the same as regular 4a except 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, bigger battery and 5G
wireless charging, IP rating, bigger battery and 5G
My prediction it will only have slightly bigger battery and 5G. I don't expect Google to become generous all of a sudden.
Peachy001, 06 Aug 2020I'd have an 855over a 7 series chip.You don't need it.
Peachy001, 04 Aug 2020I'd stick in an 865.Considering Pixel underclocks the processor, that doesn't make a difference except adds to the price. Might as well go 768G to beat other 765G phones at the price range like the Velvet and Galaxy A71 5G.
Halfthekgb, 03 Aug 2020How are they being Apple? Charging extortionate price for a small feature upgrade, e.g, 5G or 64GB to 128GB etc ...
Anonymous, 04 Aug 2020Instead of trying to break into the hardware market, why not focus on the timely updates for A... moreAnd don't go the apple way with it that basically cripples the updates they do get
