It's still going to be a candy bar shape. They had to make the front screen bigger and I'm still not sure it will be big enough. As is, the device is pocket-able, but its too thick. That's the main problem. They have to slim it down and remove the gap. If they could make this device as slim as the PH-1 (folded out), they could add an inch to the overall size and it would be more pocket-able than it is now.
If you are interested in this phone, you will appreciate the bigger front screen.

Really disappointed that the Fold 2 got bigger. They should have kept the same footprint as the OG and just shrunk the bezels. As it stands, the Fold (even folded) is just another unwieldy phablet that won't fit in your pocket.

Anonymous, 04 Aug 2020Do you honestly expect that you're going to get a cheap foldable phone?At this point in time, noone expects a cheap foldable phone, but the people we who buy them now give phone companies a reason to further develop the technology, hopefully lowering the price over time.
