With /e/OS it is actually as very compelling device and the second gen actually made for a decent mid ranger considering their extremely limited supply chain.

Looks like the fabric you find on cheap carpets.
Apple still leads in recyclability. Using recycled materials for some of its components and not releasing too many models.
And if you pop that case in a washing machine, that detergent might just tear the fabric apart. A brush would make more sense.

It's really impossible to keep things free of them. Toilet seats are not even particularly dirty unless you have very poor personal hygiene. So long as it's your own personal bacteria, not to worry.

I cannot fathom why anyone would want fabric covering on the ... moreAs mentioned they are machine washable, so if you throw it in the was every time you launder your pants it will be cleaner than the majority of hard plastic or soft rubber cases people never even think of washing. I have used alcantara for the last 2.5 years and take alot more care of washing and cleaning then any previous case.

Is it actual fabric? Like cloth? I cannot fathom why anyone would want fabric covering on the phones. Our phone screens are already dirtier than toilet seats and this fabric case will make the entire phone the dirtiest, smelliest and bacteria infested thing you can own.
