On the discussion of which phone is better, OP or Xiaomi Mi flagships, on the highest end of the pricepoint OP is better BUT Xiaomi offers high-end on varying pricepoints which can cater very good specs at lower pricing. If you can maximise utility while minimising expense then Xiaomi Mi flagships were the better option than OP, IMO.

The Mi 10 Pro has better cameras and much longer battery life over the OP8 Pro. And like OnePlus, Xiaomi makes their devices at least splash resistant.

None of them have "zoom" camera.
Mi10 has macro and depth (phone over 800 euros in Europe)
OP8 Pro x Mi10Pro
- Better UI
- better software support
- faster
- better screen
- faster RAM (Xiaomi does not seem to use ddr5 from samsung), better management
- better USB
- IP rating
Mi10 Pro only wins photo quality.

You cannot tell the difference at this screen size between 1440p and 1080p.

Sure certain features and components are better then the other, but it all comes down to what a buyers wants from a phone, what is more important.
For some display is in 1st place, for some it's the camera for others its the cpu and so on...
OnePlus could do so much more with Nord, but they had to cut corners on build quality, the usless 2mp Macro camera and depth sensor. They only added that for marketing, but that backfired along with video showing poor durability test.
Xiaomi will overtake OP soon, if OP doesn't change their tactics soon.

im pretty sure it will have similar shape and design.
Sometime im thinking this "Pro Plus" and maybe next name "5G" is redesigned old version phones that failed to sell (unsold).
Better sell it back with adding new features than disassemble or waste it.

Neither OnePlus and Xiaomi can't compete with Samsung yet.
OnePlus already gave us a lot of signs that they are becoming greedier and greedier by the years.
Xiaomi still has some place left to avoid that, but its doing way better then OP that's for sure.
