You forgot to mention reverse wireless charging. It is downgraded from 9 to 4,5 W.
Glad that the right questions have been asked here. The Note 20 Ultra seems like a good phone for someone looking for the best of the best, but the Note 20 is a Lite phone. Meant to cost $400-500, not twice that.
Even more so if you're not in a region with the Exynos variant.
[deleted post]Just a title I think. But here comes angry Samsung fans suddenly bashing Apple iPhone when even its Note 20 uses a cheap plastic back. Even $200 Redmi Note 8 Pro is both faster than Note 20 (Exynos) in games and even uses a glass back.

Lol even Apple and several Chinese OEMs especially Huawei has done better. Every phone has its weaknesses agreed.
But I find it hard to justify spending enormous prices for mediocre and short-lasting quality. I do not chase paper specs.
I will still pick up an iPhone, as for Android I can consider a flagship killer like the Poco F2 Pro as I don't need a lot from it as long as it's fast.
AppocalypseCo, 09 Aug 2020Almost as if they're deliberately downgrading the Note20 to increase Ultra sales. And in ... moreIn my place iPhone 11 64 costs more than Oneplus 8 Pro 12 GB Ramachandran Srinivasan & 256 GB Storage. Note 20 Ultra is the only model to target or go after Note 10 Lite which has Note 20 features plus SD 855*( No 5G)
An enormous phone without an enormous battery and no headphone jack because there's no room? And Exynos in Europe. And ridiculously expensive.
No, Samsung. No more.
pikkoz, 09 Aug 2020950 euros for the Note20 is simply inexcusable , plastic backing, exynos 990, glass downgrad... moreTrue just like dapple rehashing the same boring stuff under different categories and asking ransom arbitrary price to check its luck! Apple at least successful in fooling its customers and pocket billions with reduced sales year after year (now they flood the market with their cheap, tiny SE to show case bar charts with higher iPhone sales to justify their higher pricing in other models)
Every time they said in the presentation of note series "we listened to you" and then introducing the same old useless Exynos 990, 25 Watts charging, that bulky ugly camera bump..."
I wanted to get in there and ask them......to whom they were listening......?
Almost as if they're deliberately downgrading the Note20 to increase Ultra sales. And in countries where the Exynos 990 will be shipped, both become a hard sell, especially with Snapdragon 865+ devices around the corner.
I dont think Note 20 will even go into mass production
Its there just as a starting price point for note series.
Samsung clearly telling either we buy the Ultra or leave it
You can pick all these with iPhones as well with their stupid pricing inferior specs other than SoC but GSMAREN/ won’t talk those for obvious reasons. Note 20 Ultra is a flagship with the latest greatest but with heavy price tag like useless iPhone 11 Pro Max. I like better screen of Bote 20 Ultra than iPhone 11 Pro Max. A Pen, far better cameras, expandable storage, huge RAM, 120 Hz display, Ultrasonic Fingerprint reader, without huge notch etc...wait for couple of months to Samsung reduce its prices by easily 20%, forget iPhones !
Not sure what's gotten into Sammy this year. Releasing phones with S865+ but no corresponding update for their inferior Exynos-equipped models? So a customer in Europe will be paying more for a worse chipset? The Note series is already the pinnacle of expensive to begin with. This is what we say "region locking at its worst" in the gaming world.
The prices are always high at release, the fact is, when upgrading the device on contract, the price to pay goes half way, even less in some cases
3-4 years is a low usability for this price point. If they want to increase prices every year, they'd better give 5 or 6 year android update.
I have secondary phone running android 7.1 in 2020, they are still usable, but some apps keep not responding, I'm guessing android compatibility issues.
It's seems like you don't know there's one area called Asia exists in this world, too.
Two huge phones. The Ultra is especially huge. Still can't do 120hz at 1440p. Vanilla Note 1080p with polycarbinate back for $1,000? Sounds scandalous.
950 euros for the Note20 is simply inexcusable , plastic backing, exynos 990, glass downgrade, slow charging etc and ,jesus, a 1080p 60hz, even my old Note4 had a 1440p screen and it's 6 years old. Once upon a time the Note series was something where you knew you get the best hardware , you paid the difference but that's it.
The price & the chipset will be the downfall of this phone. Especially Note 20. At this point they just need to rebrand Note 20 to Note 20 Lite/FE & lower the price significantly to make that phone sells. Still doesn't understand why they keep on using the same Exynos though, even though many reviews outlet are already told that the chipset performance is subpar. Did they just try to pull Apple with this phone? At least Apple can give you proven performance despite its price & many things it's lacking.
