Stick to Xiaomi phones uner 200€ tops. They are not built to last. And the UI is bad.
As someone whom understand Chinese, there's one thing I will help to correct in regard of this post.
"here will be two versions of the Mi 10 Ultra, with the second one being a collector’s edition."
That's a lost in translation. I will roughly re-translate what he posted in the post.
1. Prime collector's edition? What a weird name?
Ans: This is the "extra big shot" product, on top of been commemorative of 10 years anniversary. Therefore it would be unfit to be just called "Prime" or "Collector" edition. Hence he suggested the combined name of "Prime Collector's Edition"
2. Why not call it PRO+ instead?
Ans: He hope to have a Chinese name as it is to commemorate the 10 years anniversary. The English name will be called Mi 10 Ultra instead.
3. Would it be a limited edition and quantity? Will general consumer have a chance to get they hands on one?
Ans: Rest assured they will prepare sufficient units for sale. Though if the phone is getting too hot response from the market, it may be difficult to secure a unit. Thereby the big fans are advised to make their preorder with official site to secure their units.
4. Please don't be too affordable, I afraid I can't control myself from getting one!
Ans: Don't be worried, this "extra big shot" is extraordinary. (hinting it won't be cheap).
5. Instead of something "prime", can we have something more budget friendly?
Ans: There's already mid-tier -> Mi 10, lower-tier ->Mi 10 Youth Edition, both are great products with great price.
Note7 owner, 07 Aug 2020I like how they are going for the samsung galaxy naming. Very original Xiaomi. You know that samsung wasn't the first to use it right ? And does it matter anyway ?
LG Superfan, 07 Aug 2020A few months later: Mi 10 Ultra ProI was about to comment that. xD
Depends where they plan to sell it. I would have bought the Mi10 Pro already but sadly it wasn't made available in the UK :(
Ok so it was supposed to be "Pro Plus", but they changed it to "Ultra" and in China it's called "Supreme Edition". And it's going to be announced alongside something with "Ultra Commemorative Edition" moniker.
Is it only me or does Xiaomi's products start to sound like Aliexpress listings? Like they take a regular white shirt and they list it as "Cool Fashion Super Trendy New Style 2020 2021 2022 Shirt T-shirt Swag Comfortable Sale Batman Pokemon Adidas Nike"
Bring it on. Meanwhile the price of the mi10pro can fall down to acceptable levels.
What can a Chinese company do than copying everything they see around them...
Very original Xiaomi #x2
I'll wait for iPhone 12 sized compact yet powerful model from Xiaomi. Really tired of oversized heavy devices with curved screens crazy expensive to repair.

Namelesss, 07 Aug 2020Xiaomi is losing it. To sell the the Mi 10 Pro for 1000 Euros is an abuse. not an abuse..... xiaomi initial sell cheap until like no profit ….. then all the big brand like sony , lg , nokia, htc unable to sell phone and close shop..... now no more competitor then can change to sell like apple do.... hahahahaha….. strategy man
