JDK, 09 Aug 2020I prefer geekbench cause it is direct proof against iPhone haters. So despite higher single core performance in GeekBench, iPhone suffers annihilation in real world speed tests by phones costing 1/3rd the price.
SMH.

It judges overall performance.
Overall performance on phone isn't determined by cpu alone. GeekBench is useless.

If that alone wasn't childish enough I fail to see how Apple followers being trolling knights on their pages means its ok to as well do it on other pages.

Antutu is just a mess of both CPU and GPU and EVEN display refresh rate(which has nothing to do with the actual speed of the phone).

Plus, how can you consider UI and RAM when they impact the speed in different ways than GPU and CPU?

Again, speed test like Gary Explains or Android Authority using is still more reliable. It should even be the new standard. Takes CPU and GPU into comparison.

A phone cannot be fast just because it has a high Antutu score because it just detects everything.

Android.Master, 09 Aug 2020I love Antutu since it ruffles a lot of feathers of Chinese phone haters. Antutu is good just to have a rough idea of what to expect from a particular phone. Not to completely and blindly trust it.
I made that mistake and went out bought the Redmi Note 8 Pro (which on paper was great). Big display, great design, fairly good battery life, good powerful chipset. And in day to day usage bad. After Android 10 update, starting having small lag each and there (opening and closing apps, navigating through menu), started having wi-fi issues, bluetooth issues.
My 4 year old iphone SE 1st gen felt more smooth and without any lag navigating through menu and opening apps. Yeah, the design is outdated, battery life is not very good, display is smaller.
But in the end what is more important, to have a "great specs" phone on paper or a smooth experience in day to day usage? Everybody can make their choices, for me, it was simple: kept my iphone SE, sold my Redmi Note 8 Pro. Maybe in the future I will return to Android, but 100% sure, not to Chinese cheap brand phones (like Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo).

The more output you get at 50% clock rate, the better. Because, your phone also throttles like crazy after 10 minutes gaming.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2020You talking if it’s android are the one brought 120hz first and forget that iPad Pro the first... moreTouch latency is touching 270hz on Android phones.
Even budget phones give above 60hz.
Response times are lowest in Android ecosystem on phones like ROG 3.
Apple has high response times and lightweight OS which can't showcase its screen in full glory.
One always feel like they are holding an inferior device when using 60hz iPhone.
