Canada should have also banned TikTok by now. Are we waiting for another Nortel to happen ? https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2020-07-01/did-china-steal-canada-s-edge-in-5g-from-nortel

Apps like tiktok must be banned fr the world.
After TikTok ban in India, the actual creative and talented became popular on other platforms like Insta, YouTube.
90% of TikTokers were trash and are now out of content.
    .
And people in comment section are talking about US banning Chinese apps.
Nobody is talking about China who has banned Play Store.

[deleted post]No need to go as far as North Korea, what about China. Why do they block Google, WikiPedia, Facebook, Twitter without any reason in China when TikTok does 10 times the data collection then those apps ? Block YouTube and then create "Youku". Yes, that's the Chinese copy of Youtube.

Ricky.Did You Said Creative In "Creative Videos Posted On TikTok".Are You Sure? Most Of The "Creative" Is Nothing But "Cringe.I Don't Want It To Be Banned For Any Data Privacy Concerns Or Something But The Whole Concept Of Reels,TikTok Is Pathetic.

TL;DR: We are literally trying to sell our business to Microsoft to evade so called "ban due to privacy concern" yet US government keeps interfering like a rogue. Wtf more do you guys want ffs?

              You're welcome.

it's hilarious to see these USA politician's sinophibia level... to them, every shadow and anything under the Sun can trigger their national security panic mode without the need to give any reason or evidence

Yes. Take TikTok from ByteDance also take Smartisan from them.

This statement has nothing to do with tencent.

Hang tight until November. That moron is going to be voted out along with a ton of his cronies so we can get back on track to being at least a DECENT country.

I hope Huawei and Tiktok (as much as I hate that app actually...) team up and counter-sue the U.S. government. Can't blindly do these things without proof and especially if that quote you guys put in was true (that America didn't even give Huawei a chance to defend themselves), then they can win so Huawei can keep using Kirin and potentially get Google back.
