Since iPhone 11 series with U1 chip...it is the most accurate smart device
Hopefully other Apple devices will get this, probably the macs based on Apple Silicon and the new ipads/apple watches

Looks like I've been lost all this time to not knowing that.yup, China asked access to GPS in 90s to study topography of Kashmir,AKSAI CHIN , and GILJIT BALTISTAN for wartime preparation, but then president bill Clinton ordered US MILITARY to cut Chinese military access to GPS
thus China started to build beidou navigation cluster to prevent embarrassing situation

It's your phone's physical gps antenna support.
Google uses wifi, cell location in its support.
Qualcomm Snapdragon has all those GPS types support in SoC itself. But exynos, Meditek , they need extra gps receiver/manager chip , which causes Some OEMs to cheap out and only support some types of gps

BeiDou was designed with Asia's hilly terrain in mind therefore BeiDou-3 have 30 satellites by design vs GPS' 24 so signal from the satellites comes in at a more vertical angle
