You can find many websites that will guide you, in order to install ICS on i9000.
The problem of Galaxy S is that it had a lot of HARDWARE customizations in different countries. It would be ok and easy to port if the hardware was the same for the whole world...
For example: You can have ICS running almost 100% on America's i9000... But the Brazilian and South Korean version of i9000 would not have the Digital TV Receiver...

Stop making shitty phones with keyboards, make some high end smartphones with a slide out keyboard, a 4.5 HD screen and a quad krait CPU
