I'm with the previous comment, they launched the mi mix 3 5G as a premium phone and charged a premium price and it's stuck on pie and no foreseen future updates. I'll go with another manufacturer next time also.

What about software updates for the Mi Mix 3 5G? This was meant to be a premium device, is still on sale, but is still on Android 9 with no roadmap for updates. If this is the way they treat their customers I will go to a better manufacturer in future.

There's no point to the mi mix line when they have k20/k30/poco f2 pro series all having fullscreen bezelless form.
There's no point to that pretentious crap called alpha when it's not practical to use. Hell, if I wanted that design and can pay that much, I'd rather have mate x/xs which can also be a foldable. They realized people weren't going to be fooled by the mix alpha gimmick, so they stopped it.
Just use resources to improve miui instead of making those surge chips.
To the guy below asking about mi max series, there's also no point to huge phones when phones in general are already reaching 6.67 and there are even 6.89 and 7.2 inch screens.

Sooo advanced. Good job xiaomi. Too advanced that xiaomi is gradually catching up. As consumers. It's good that we support experimental phones. It's thanks to such cutting advanced tech that we have great phones in our hands.... Keep pumping out that black shark 3s pro gaming phone xiaomi!! Shame the west will not know much about gaming phones... Good for players like me. That literally run circles (Maybe a few circles) round my opponents with 90FPS 90hz PUBG! - Bring them on! I will sprinkle a little red magic dust and neutralize my opponents with a text warning issued saying... Game over.

Not surprised with the Mi Mix Alpha halt. I mean, I never think it would be even possible for the production phase. The Mi Mix Alpha is merely a concept smartphone, just like the Vivo APEX 2020.
