So I'm not sure if I want to buy a Pixel at all in the first place.

Gsmarena.com please make a post on the salaries of the Management of these Smartphone Manufacturers.
Like Salaries of the CEO of Google, of the Head of the Mpbile division and certain other decisions, to understand why prices have no corelation to the components being used and the technology in these phones.
Also, Snapdragon has increased its proce about 4 TIMES in the last 5 iterations. Please also make a listing of All Costs of Smartphone Components.
