Good thing Xiaomi is not using that 108MP camera, I'm really not impressed with its overall photo quality. 48MP with the same sensor size as that 108MP camera is definitely spot on since it reminds me of OmniVision's OV48C sensor. The telephoto camera duo is also impressive as Xiaomi is finally following Vivo's route with two different focal lengths. I definitely welcome that.
You know what? This might be my 3rd favorite Xiaomi phone in 2020.

last but not least the UI on xiaomi phones is atrocious. they havent changed their design language to fit android's evolution at all since the early 2010s, everything's still blocky and rectangular rather than rounded, it's like they haven't learnt from their iOS clone days
but the note is still overpriced af, 1500 is garbage 🤯

The specs are gigantic. The software still sucks. God, I pray for Xiaomi and other phone makers to offer their phone with the MUI and one with stock android. I would pay extra for that.

1. Display : Use the Oneplus 8 Pro panel
2. Camera : Put the P40 Pro Plus camera at the back
3. Performance : Use an 865+ and cooling system
4. Battery : Have at least 4500mah for 120hz
5. Charging : at least 30W Wired charging and 30W Wireless charging
6. Build Quality : use ceramic or kevlar or glass sandwich
7. Speakers : Symmetrical Stereo speakers
8. Size : Not too big like The ultra phone. P40 Pro size is the perfect one.
9. Price : Not above $1000
10. Storage : At least 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 8 GB OF LPDDR5 RAM

Everything from icon, bootanimation, deep customization of lockscreen, etc can be changed.
Hands down best theme store on Android.
Unlike iOS, on Android you can pretty much install other launchers to make it look like whatever you want.

iOS Succckkks, 12 Aug 2020What do you mean by optimizing miui for Western Customers?MIUI is good on customization, software updates and functionality. But it is just bad by appearance. It looks like an iphone which have an squared icons. Android must be rounded or circle. MIUI notifications and control center looks like an Iphone. It appeals to China as an Iphone android clone. But it is bad by appearance. I even prefer One UI to MIUI even though One UI has less updates because of the appearance.
