AnonD-947580, 11 Aug 2020I'm talking about the build quality over time. Chinese phones are known for only working ... moreThat's not true at all. Chinese phones last much longer than a year. You can ask anyone on here (including myself), or really anyone with a mid-range or high-end Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, or Vivo phone. They last just as long as any Pixel, iPhone, Samsung, LG, or Sony. (which are all manufactured in China so technically all phones are Chinese made).
This phone is dooooope!
It's good, but IMO the compromises are not worth the discount. (NO SD, No IP, low-res screen)
It's worth the extra cash to go for Note 20 Ultra or Mate 40 Pro.
But yeah, Xiaomi has improved a lot over the years. Good for them!
Xiaomi should name it like Xiaomi Mi X (from Apple) Ultra (from Samsung).
ishreal, 11 Aug 2020What an absolutely ridiculous statement. Do you honestly believe that? Of course it will work ... moreI'm talking about the build quality over time. Chinese phones are known for only working for max 12 months before becoming defective.
I don't doubt the display is good but over time it won't hold. Probably after 1 year it will be destroyed.
[deleted post]Thanks I guess:)
Would have been perfect if it had a flat screen

Good phone, the specs are great especially the camera. But I ain't paying that amount of money for a Xiaomi phone
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is the new world king of mobile photography. He overtook all the flagships in a test on the DxOMark portal. With a final score of 130 points, he ran over the former king of the Huawei P40 Pro.
The 4,500mAh “graphene-based lithium-ion” battery is the industry’s first mass-produced graphene battery, saying it packs 1,000 times greater conductivity than traditional “carbon black” batteries. The battery remained at over 90% capacity after 800 charge and discharge cycles.

Of course it will work for years and it's definitely one of the best displays out there. Probably in the top 10.
AnonD-947580, 11 Aug 2020FullHD display.. Jesus Christ.. What a garbage phone and the quality is probably lower than a ... morecan you recognize at naked eyes the difference between FHD & QHD????? there are other features rather only than pixel density & resolution to consider if an OLED panel will be a good or bad one....
Why the punch hole and not the pop up as in the k30 ultra? I really don't get it
I am a simple person. I see a punch hole and I close the video.
Anonymous, 11 Aug 2020What about file manager that shows ads even if you turn off ads from ads setting?!Bla bla blaaaah. I just received miui 12 update last night for my RN8 PRO and it is fantaaaastic! . Samsung and iPhone is a waste of money IMO.
So THAT'S what you can get for less that $1000? Take notes samsung, this phone is definitely at the top of my list.
ishreal, 11 Aug 2020No I just think FHD+ is more than enough for smartphones, especially with high refresh screens... moreExactly, what you think but others want quality not FHD especially in this price range. This comment, with no difference between FHD and QHD is 3 or 4 years old and it is and has always been just a sad excuse. Maybe we should have stopped at 720p screens.
