I think the whole Pixel/HTC project has been a big let down. What G needs to do is go back to the Nexus days. A modern day Samsung Galaxy Nexus/Pixel would bring the best of hardware and software.

Just give us good performance. Plastic bodies are good. We put phones in cases anyway.
The back of the phone is the right place for the fingerprint reader. It's natural.
I don't care how rediculously thin you make the phone but make it thick enough to contain an all-day battery.
It"s a phone, a camera, and a handheld computer. Thats all I want. If you want, allow Porsche to OEM. It and charge triple fo those who want style.

I hope Google finally brings out Pixels in my country, as they are import only one (and thus a $699 Pixel Will be around €850 in my country)
It's stupid, because all Nexus phones were officially released by Google here, but since their stupid Pixel line they never brought any of them here (but their speakers, Chromecast, stadia and so on they DO sell here)

Well, time to change sides. If Apple can make a small high-end phone with three cameras and an oled screen and OK battery life (for an unjustifiably high price, however), then an Android manufacturer should be able to do the same. But no, not even google themselves.
Ye, Sony made some good compact phones but then they was like, nah f that.

The terrible year of Android.Samsung has once again introduced the Exynos to Europe. iPhone 11 crushed everything after a little iphone se everyone maked jokes. + 25% for iPhone after pandemic Samsung -30%. They deserve it worse to come. When 12 will released samsung can rip. Also they losing with xiaomi mid range segment. Samsung has ruined its name a lot, in general the Android world plays very badly, all unnamed brands were picked up for 1000 euros. Like seriously why they dont understand when consumers have choise iphone and every android brand at 1000 euro everyone will chose iphone maybe 10 % will go for.after if you want resale after 4 months you will hunt to sell it for 60 % of price simply every android smartphone problem. Android should be cheap can never stand Apple at a price if they do not realize it will get worse this year. I will switch to iPhone too, I have already tried xr, now I will wait for 12 .

This seems like a good idea, you're getting an XL model at the same price as a standard pixel and possibly a much bigger battery.

We miss how good where nexus back in old days :( I hope they can sell the software to all android companies and enjoy grate software processing photo on all phones, the best thing pixel have and will ever have. RIP
