Anonymous, 14 Aug 2020Nope, base model do comes with 60hz refresh rate not 144 hz. There are three models with all o... moreExactly, as confirmed by the teaser ad: https://gizchina.cz/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/s_5a476904b2514f849fa31377b472cfce.jpg

Plus, the massive price jump from $760 to $900 wouldn't have made sense for essentially the same CPU and only somewhat better graphics. "144Hz display for just $760" would've been very impressive. For $900, not so much.

No ryezen and not RTX options is a compromise.

The Redmi G comes at a mind-bending $760 starting price and goes up to $1,000 without making any compromises with the hardware.
😒 Webcam being put on the bottom bezel is a compromise

Its simple the reason they wont go for AMD is Intel product cost cheaper than AMD in most Asian market. Example, when Intel announce 500$ product its 520$ in Asian. When AMD announce 500$ product its 600$ when it comes to Asian market!

No AMD Ryzen 4000 series (more powerful and cheaper than intel 10th Gen), and only upto 1650Ti. Not worth buying.

Have we really come this far that companies will do stupid things like moving the webcam to the bottom bezel all for the sake of "super thin bezels?" Why don't you put notches on laptop screens too ffs.

Everything is pretty much alright except for that GTX 1650 Ti card. 1660 Super or 1660 Ti would make more sense.
